The College of Political Science at the University of Kufa organized a symposium entitled (Standards of Integrity of Women Employed in Iraqi Universities), where the lecturers were Prof. Adawiya Hayawi Al-Shibli and Dr. Muhammad Salem Al-Najjar, in the presence of the Dean of the College, Dr. Haider Al-Amiri, the assistant of the Najaf Investigations Office, Mr. Hussein Shaker, professors from the Investigations Office, and a group of teachers and faculty members.
The seminar was opened by the Dean of the College, Dr. Haider Al-Amiri, and a speech by Professor Hussein Shaker.
The symposium dealt with two axes, the first axis, Prof. Dr. Adawiya Hayawi al-Shibli, and the title of the lecture was the role of Iraqi universities in eliminating forms of occupational discrimination against women and its impact on the integrity of employed women. The role of Iraqi universities was clear in eliminating the elements that achieve occupational discrimination, which is the elimination of segregation Employment, Elimination of Job Exclusion, Elimination of Job Restriction As for the second axis, the lecturer was Dr. Muhammad Salem Al-Najjar, and the title of the lecture was administrative corruption and approved it on the integrity of employed women and ways to address it.
The symposium recommended several points to enhance women’s confidence in the public office and take into account their efficiency in protecting public money from wastage, taking into account the ability and competence of women to complete the work and tasks assigned to them.
